5/29/07 - Motor pre-order - Reminder
Please contact our on-site vendors to pre-order high power motors. You may not be able to get what you want unless you pre-order.

5/29/07 - Tee-Shirt Pre-order Closed
We have completed pre-orders on tee-shirts. If you pre-ordered they will be available at the field. If you did not pre-order and would still like a shirt, we have ordered a limited number of extras. First come, first served.

5/24/07 - Hotel Room Blocks Released
The last few rooms in the blocks we reserved for Southern Thunder have been released. This was required 14 days prior to the event. If you didn't get your reservation in time, there are lots of hotels available in the area. The music festival in town the following week has caused some shortages and increased prices though.

5/20/07 - Extended Waiver Approved
The FAA has approved our waiver request for a high altitude window for Southern Thunder. Windows to 20,000' will be available on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 12noon. The standard waiver to 14,000' will be in effect all day.
